Our Name
The word United signifies unity and solidarity among diverse groups, emphasizing collaboration and collective strength to achieve common goals.
This refers to the people of Africa, highlighting the party’s focus on issues relevant to the continent and its citizens, fostering a sense of identity and belonging.
This represents change and progress, indicating a commitment to reforming socio-economic structures, improving governance, and enhancing the quality of life for individuals and communities.
United Africans Transformation (UAT) is a Pan-African political movement dedicated to the liberation and empowerment of all Africans. Founded in November 2022, UAT is rooted in the belief that true freedom for South Africans lies in embracing Pan-African ideals of unity, self-determination, and collective advancement. We are committed to dismantling the legacy of colonialism and apartheid, which continue to perpetuate inequality and injustice.
The systemic racial oppression of apartheid not only deprived the majority of South Africans of their rights but also entrenched economic exclusion and structural inequality. Post-1994, the ruling party has failed to dismantle these oppressive structures, instead presiding over worsening poverty, skyrocketing unemployment, daily service delivery failures, and rampant corruption. The majority of South Africans remain locked out of the country’s wealth while elites thrive

UAT believes in a radical Pan-African vision to transform South Africa into a nation that prioritizes African values of solidarity, dignity, and justice. This includes reclaiming the land and resources of the people, building inclusive and sustainable communities, and ensuring that economic growth benefits the majority, not the privileged few.
Our mission is to reignite the collective spirit of the African people and create a government that is accountable to its citizens, one that promotes self-reliance, economic independence, and justice. UAT firmly rejects policies and systems that perpetuate inequality and division and instead seeks to unite South Africans in a shared struggle for a future that reflects the ideals of Pan-Africanism. We are deeply committed to addressing the root causes of economic and social injustice, restoring dignity to marginalized communities, and advancing policies that empower South Africans to take charge of their own destiny. Together, we can build a South Africa that is prosperous, equitable, and rooted in the unity of its people.
